Duke at Notre Dame

Duke’s game on Saturday vs Louisville started out fast and then managed to creep under in the second half.  They’re getting another soft defense with Notre Dame and a great match-up for Jeremy Roach and Paolo Banchero specifically.  However with some other one off pay up spots I can see the better build here being to go with Roach & Griffin instead of Paolo as one of the two Dukies.

7k and Up

Keegan Murray – Iowa – $9,500

The do everything for Iowa is going to be a tough task for Penn State to slow down again.  These teams met on Jan 22nd in Iowa and it was Kris Murray who had a big boost on that night, but being on the road I would prefer the better player from the Hawkeyes.

Graham Ike – Wyoming – $8,500

Graham grades out as a top tier Onions play, he has 34% rebounding rate, plays 71% of the minutes and should be in line for a bounce back performance against a weak Colorado State defense.

Jalen Pickett – Penn State – $7,100

Pickett went off for 45.3 fantasy points vs Purdue in a big game but had only 24 against Iowa when these two last met.  Otherwise he has been a 30 point rock and in theory should have a higher floor game vs Iowa.  If you want to rock a cheaper PSU player it would be the Myles Dreaded experience.

Mid Range – 5600 to 6900

Nate Laszewski – Notre Dame – $6,800

A good rebounder who offers some 3ball range with a pace boost scenario.  He can hit 35+ points and be a must own if he does that.

Umoja Gibson – Oklahoma – $5,700

The Big 12 gets back to beating themselves up tonight after the SEC whooped them, including Oklahoma, on Saturday.  Gibson had 20+ vs TCU and is very reliable as a 4x play.

Matt Mayer – Baylor – $6,700

Mayer went off in Morgantown, which was fitting as the mullet fit right in out in West Virginia.  This is an ugly basketball game to watch but he is looking to repeat that performance at home.

Mike Miles – TCU – $6,500

Not many players have burned me in the past more than Mike Miles has.  So he is only here because it’s a short slate of games and I am trusting him to continue a recent stretch of good basketball with a 25% usage and 21% shot rate over the last 4 games for TCU.

Value – Below 5600

Jeremy Roach – Duke – $5,000

20-25 point upside but a pretty good floor in this type of game.

AJ Griffin – Duke – $4,700

Sean McNeil – WVU – $4,600

Jordan Bohannon – Iowa – $4,300

Blake Wesley – Notre Dame – $7,900

I think a fourth leg in a ND/Duke stack is key tonight and there’s a lot to justify using Wesley as that guy in this pace up spot for the Irish.  He has a 37% usage rate over the last 3 games and is playing 30+ minutes as he takes over as the true Alpha on this team.
