CBB DFS: The ONIONS – March 22nd

The best day of the year is here. The first Friday of the tournament, so sit back and watch it and enjoy it.

EARLY WINDOW

Northwestern vs FAU: This one should be a wild start to the day, but it kinda sucks that this is a Noon window game and not the 7pm or 9pm spot. I expect FAU to start strong early as they have the talent and should run through Goldin early — but late it becomes the Boo Buie show, which really points to this being a nice DFS spot to take an early shot on.
Cornell vs Baylor: The B12 has not been dominant across the board, but Baylor is not as good as I thought they were early in the year. The 14 is probably too much here.
UAB vs SD St: San Diego State in the tourney? Fade.
WKU vs MARQ: Sorry, I just don’t see this one being as high scoring as a 158 total indicates. Marquette’s defense is going to shine but for DFS, you GOTTA like this game.

LATE AFTERNOON

STETSON vs UCONN: Next question.
NEW MEXICO VS CLEMSON: I am all in on New Mexico, so lord help me here if the good Joe Girard shows up for Clemson. I doubt he will, because it’s a PJ Hall game for Clemson if anyone.
Yale vs Aubrun: Matt Knowling for Yale, Johni Broome for Auburn.
Colorado vs Florida: Love this game. Will definitely be closer than the Marquette game and Colorado is going to be ready to challenge Florida.

EARLY EVENING

Texas A&M vs Nebraska: Tyrece Radford, next in line of the Sindarius Thornwell – Jordan Miller I’m gonna take my team on a long run in the tournament mold…
Vermont vs Duke: Will Duke crumble like Kentucky if this one is close or they are trailing late? For that reason, the 12.5 is a fade and take the points.
Grambling St vs Purdue: No repeat this year. Purdue will play dominant early.
Col of Charleston vs Alabama: COFC is dangerous. Alabama is not as good this year. Upset potential here, which makes it a DFS darling. Ante Brzovic and Kobe Rodgers for Charleston

LATE EVENING

Longwood vs Houston: Walyn Napper is a baller for Longwood. They’ll be smart to lock him down.
James Madison vs Wisconsin: TJ Bickerstaff has been talking trash – time to back it up.
TCU vs Utah State: Darius Brown (Utah State)
Grand Canyon vs Saint Mary’s: No thanks
