With a kissssss…
NFL is gone and it is officially time for College Hoops to dominate the Saturday afternoons without any question for the next 9 weeks fellas and ladies. We kick it off with the typical Main slate at noon and then there’s a small 4PM and small 8PM slate as well for those who want to keep throwing darts in the afternoon.
A general reminder for those new to CBB DFS. I approach building lineups with a game stack as a core for each lineup that I build and a game stack is typically going to be 3 to 4 total players and never more then that with 2 from each side being the perfect build. All total, the best lineups are typically of a 3-3-2 or 3-2-2-1 or 4-2-1-1 type build, which might sound familiar for those of you who have played MLB DFS.
Wichita State at Tulane
I really think this game has potential but it’s a little odd to consider it right out of the gate with an 11 am local tip. Tyson Etienne (Wichita) and Kevin Cross (Tulane) are the primary plays with Dexter Dennis (Wich) and Jalen Cook (Tulane) making a ton of sense too and okay I just talked myself into this as a Bracket Mania Q lineup stack.

Miami at Georgia Tech
The huge question to me in this game is will GT just play small and we have 5v5 guard play here. I believe that will likely be the case but if Rodney Howard can get some minutes for Tech then he can have a 5x game at his cheap $3200 price tag. Otherwise you are essentially just playing for the pick-up guard game here.
For the Hurricanes don’t chase the Jordan Miller 35 point game against the Hokies as that was him going off on the school that refused to give him an offer out of High School. Instead I think Charlie Moore is going to have to have another good game here for them but at 7200 his ceiling is hard to reach. I like the game if you are going all in for a close OT spot and so lets just ride the studs and duds

Georgetown at Butler
I don’t normally like stacking up teams I don’t think are very good but the Hoyas defense is bad and bad defense does not travel, so the Bulldogs (Butler) will have their way against the Hoyas (not a Bulldog).
Georgetown: Aminu Mohammed
Butler:
- Aaron Thompson – Scoring PG tear up the Hoyas. This has potential to be a ceiling game for him.
- Chuck Harris – Harris leads Butler in 3P attempts, which is a good thing vs G’Town.
- Bo Hodges – Can he make it three straight 30+ point games?

Other game thoughts
Duke at Louisville … I want no part of the Dukies on the road at their cost. Louisville is of course a dumpster fire but I’m curious why Duke is only a -6.5 favorite here. Take the under.
NC State at North Carolina … Two great plays in this one. Terquavion Smitih (NC State) and Armando Bacot (UNC)
Michigan at Michigan State … No thanks
Oklahoma at Auburn … Nothing here for me today. Hammer the Oklahoma under 63.5 team total
Xavier at Creighton … I can’t pull the trigger on this game, I’ll pass. Good game to watch though.
Missouri at Iowa State … Mizzou? More like Mizz who?
Arizona State at Arizona … Why is this game on the slate? We don’t do PAC-12 on Main Saturday slates darnit. This is a 21 spread for good reason on the Arizona side but ASU should keep it close being a rivalry game and get run out of the building in the second half. Go right ahead and play Kerr Kriisa, fine.
Indiana at Maryland … As good as Trayce Jackson-Davis is and how bad Maryland’s interior is, the bottom line is that he isn’t producing high enough to use him on a 12 game slate at $8,800. Somehow Maryland has won two in a row, if they win another one today that’s what we call a winning streak.
Virginia Tech vs Florida State … VT is tempting.

7k and Up
Armando Bacot – North Carolina – $9,000
Bacot dominating against the weak interior of N.C. State is right at the center of our attention today. He carries the upside to have a 30 and 15 game. If you are building around a cheap stack somewhere or looking for that one stud to anchor lineups it should be Bacot.
Izaiah Brockington – Iowa State – $7,000
The low point for Brockington was roughly 20 fpts vs a good Texas team and the high point is upper 30’s considering he rebounds very well for a Guard and is facing a favorable rebounding opponent today. Brockington’s home splits catch my attention as he averages 33.9 fppg at home compared to just 25.2 on the road. Missouri has played above their heads lately and I expect Iowa State to control this game.

Mid Range – 5600 to 6900
Terquavion Smith – NC State – $6,800
Anyone facing the Tar Heels typically finds a player or two who tops 30 FP. Because the Tar Heels play at a high offensive tempo but have a middling defense I find it best to seek out the highest usage for the lowest price on their opponents side. Terq Smith is coming in with a 27% usage and 22% shot rate over the last 4 games for the Wolfpack while playing 35+ minutes per game.
Tyson Etienne – Wichita State – $5,600
Whenever Tyson E can draw an opponent that allows 40+% success from beyond the arc we get some interest. Tulane falls right on that mark allowing 40.6% success rate on the year from deep. Etienne will take a bunch of long range shots and I like that he is coming off a down game. He should be a safe chalky play in this price point.
Aaron Thompson – Butler – $5,500
My dead dog could roll out and play point guard in this game today and drop 20 against the Hoyas.

Kerr Kriisa – Arizona – 5300
Probably the chalk play from this game. Shoots a lot of 3s and ASU is near bottom in the nation defending the 3 ball.

There isn’t a ton of clear cut value plays here and not a specific scenario where I look and say okay we gotta have X value player today, so these are fairly interchangeable.

Jordan Usher – Georgia Tech – $8,400
Usher is coming off one of his better games of the season and could see a minutes boost in a game they need him on the floor as much as possible vs a Miami defense that is favorable and should allow him to have a good rebounding game here too with lots of shots being fired up. If this game is going to go over then Usher should be north of 40 fantasy points today.
