The Slapshot – Dec 28th

Four game slate.  Hurricanes, Kings, Golden Knights and Sharks are on B2B….  Which means the other teams haven’t played since the 22nd.  Do the math folks.

Edmonton against San Jose will certainly be a chalky spot tonight, with them being such heavy favorites and the Sharks just being a blanket boost for all positions.  Edmonton hasn’t played since the 22nd, they definitely could be a little slow out the gates tonight and might not be an auto full stack spot given the 4 game slate.

Vegas continues to struggle on defense, allowing 5 last night to the Ducks and now they welcome in the Kings.  Both teams are on B2B here, but I would look at the Kings second line which has been fantastic all year and is still one of the best values in DFS.  Overall I would back the Knights to get out of their funk finally since they do get the road Kings on a B2B, and they’ll need to buck the data trends and get a big game from Marchessault for that to happen.

The Habs are playing fast, while the Hurricanes are playing slow once again.  I will fade this game for the most part.

The sneaky game tonight is Flyers vs Canucks.  Vancouver’s gonna have a hard time cracking the Flyers PK unit but at full strength I like Vancouver on home ice.  Good game stack spot.

  1. Kings:  Danault, Fiala, Moore
  2. Canucks:  Miller, Boeser, Hughes
  3. Oilers:  McDavid, Bouchard
