I am all about the game that has a ton of former Saints coaches in it naturally. But beyond that we have two definitive playoff teams who have QB options that can be trusted, RB depth and certainly some spots to attack on defense. The Broncos RZ challenges have slowly gotten better & facing a Lions defense which is struggling in the red zone is going to prove very fruitful for Denver. I wouldn’t expect Wilson to have 3 Red Zone touchdowns as the path is likely to get a rushing TD or two there, but he will throw for enough yards around that to be viable out of a collection of shitty QB’s.
Steelers Colts might look like that tempting late December island football game that has 70 points in it, but then you remember who the Qb’s are and nah, no thanks. This is the ultimate Zack Moss finally go off game though.
And the early game is the least ranked of the bunch, but it has the dont miss me plays in J’Marr Chase and TJ Hockenson. Chase is gonna have 10+ targets easily here and is my top WR for that reason.
RUSSELL WILSON
Wilson is playing well right now and so too is every QB against the Lions. I expect Wilson to be up there in ownership but do not mind it on the short slate, however I do expect the Broncos to score in the red zone via the running game twice, so whether he keeps it once or its two RB should be factored when stacking the Broncos
JARED GOFF
Flip side in the same game that should have a high scoring tempo to it. Denver’s been allowing teams to complete short passes underneath so Goff could keep the Lions offense moving and just accumulate a good yardage game.
An ugly group of backup RB dominating the list here today. We’re seeing the transition from Joe Mixon to Chase Brown in Cincinnati, but I am hitched to the Chase wagon there. Otherwise you would be smart to try and get Denver/Detroit RB even with the QB here today.
- ZACK MOSS … An average running back has been heavy chalk two weeks in a row on the main slates and now rolls into the short slate, do we bite again? Yes, we do.
- DAVID MONTGOMERY … Nearly priced the same as Gibbs, there’s a path to playing both as well to be sneaky here.
- JAVONTE WILLIAMS … Sean Payton always rotates his RB, so I don’t hate going Samaje Perine also who could be viable in the passing game.
- TY CHANDLER … Limited options for the Vikings behind Chandler, who isn’t that bad of a RB. There’s holes for him to gash the Bengals defense who are 24th in allowing TD to opposing RB.
- NAJEE HARRIS … I really do not trust much with Pittsburgh these days the way the RB are split, so it’s a pray and roll the dice scenario. However one of the things that never seems to fail is a road RB scoring against the Colts. And between the two, Harris should be that guy.
No Justin Jefferson for me. I don’t believe he can come back in off injury and turn it on with all the QB turnover they have had there either. Chase on the other hand has had enough work with Browning and is proven to have a solid floor.
- JAMARR CHASE … 8-11 catches, 100 yards, likely a touchdown. On a short slate there is always that one volume guy to decide upon and Chase is a yes for me.
- COURTLAND SUTTON … I don’t see a Wilson success path without Sutton continuing to be his guy.

- GEORGE PICKENS … I had Diontae here before, but I am going with the slight $ discount on Pickens as I want the bigger play opportunity.
TJ will get the bulk of the passing work for Minnesota, lock and load.
