W Sebastian Aho (CAR)

Thus far through seven games the Hurricanes are tied for second in the league in goals scored (28) with the Avalanche and Golden Knights. They’ve been playing at an extremely fast pace and their best player is just getting into the fold. Sebastian Aho has played four games and has a goal, two assists, and 11 shots. The Sharks came into last night winless allowing 23 total goals (3.67 goals per game) while also allowing the most shots on goal per game (38.5). San Jose comes in after getting trounced by the Lightning last night and Aho is fairly priced as the seventh-highest wing.

C Jack Hughes 

Hughes leads the NHL with points (17) and has 28 shots in six games. He’s averaging over 22 minutes of ice-time per game. Hughes is also among the league’s leaders in scoring chances per 60 at 5v5. The Sabres have seen Hughes record six goals and seven assists against them in 13 career games and with Hughes entering his age 22 season I don’t see him slowing down soon.
