RUSSELL WILSON (DK: $5800, FD: $7100) … The jump from one week in the Payton system to a second week is going to be tremendous when it comes to the “shot” plays for the offense to score touchdowns. I expect Denver to win this game by a mile, given their history when it comes to winning at home in September, Washington coming off a win and not being very good and the expectation that Denver will thrive against a bad secondary too. When they get to the 40 yard line, you can expect a play action dime to Mims and they will get Jeudy going this week as well. Wilson throws 3 (maybe 4?) touchdowns, 300+ yards and Denver rolls.
JUSTIN HERBERT (DK: $7000, FD: $8200) … A lot of value opens up as everyone runs to the Austin Ekeler OUT news, but it’s not going to Joshua Kelly or the running game against a good Titans run defense. This HAS to be a Keenan Allen game and if it isn’t then the Chargers are gonna lose or it means they went the route of the TE/Mike Williams.
JARED GOFF (DK: $6200, FD: $7300) … One of the more interesting spots is a re-match of a high scoring game from a year ago as Seattle visits Detroit. The Lions had the extra time to rest after week one and Seattle got carved up by the Rams passing attack. Expect Goff to do similarly but the only pause for me is that the RB could easily get the touchdowns from within the 5 yardline.
SAQUON BARKLEY (DK: $8000, FD: $8800) … You get embarrassed on national TV and then the NFL gifts you a get right spot like a trip to Arizona? You pound the fuck out of Saquon in this game.
JOSH JACOBS (DK: $7100, FD: $7500) … Vegas wins. There, I gave away my upset call of the week right there. I don’t think Buffalo is a great team and their loss on MNF vs the Jets is not the type you come out from and immediately turn it around the next week. Vegas has one path though to winning and it’s Jacobs, so if they’re gonna go into Buffalo and win here it has to be through him.

AJ DILLON (DK: $5900, FD: $7000) … Opportunity share should open up if Jones sits. I will lean going the TE route here but Dillon is 2b for Packer exposure in what I envision being a fast/ground heavy game on both sides.
DAVID MONTGOMERY (DK: $5800, FD: $6300) & JAHMYR GIBBS (DK: $6300, FD: $5800) … This easily could turn into both RB scoring and neither being good enough to take something down, but neither being bad enough that you are upset using them.
Value RB: Rachaad White, Deon Jackson
SLEEPER
Josh Jacobs is the true sleeper but Travis Etienne should have an increased roll vs the Chiefs who likely still give up heavy volume in the passing game to RB this season.
KEENAN ALLEN (DK: $7100, FD: $7800) … Extra volume and a bad secondary, which shouldn’t be able to handle the under neath routes very well again this week.
TEE HIGGINS (DK: $6400, FD: $7000) … Historically the target monster vs the Ravens, who are banged up but are my pick to win this game. Which sets up for Higgins seeing more receptions/targets as the game moves on.
JERRY JEUDY (DK: $6600, FD: $6700) … He returns and he will get involved early. More of a DK play hoping for a good reception game.
AMON-RA ST. BROWN (DK: $7800, FD: $8100) … I am flopping back and forth between going back to the Chase well and St. Brown. Honestly, I think the Chase route makes sense but Higgins is normally my guy when they face the Ravens, so I’ll ride that ship one more time and expect Goff to do well, so that should mean another St. Brown touchdown.

LUKE MUSGRAVE (DK: $3200, FD: $5000) … Sure, Kelce is back in the DFS world this week, but so too is a TE against the damn Atlanta Falcons and I’m telling you this is the cheat code of 2023.
NOAH FANT (DK: $2900, FD: $4600) … Obviously if going away from the Kelce train, there’s no reason to spend in the mid range IMO. Game flow is likely good here, Seattle is probably going to have to rely on options beyond Metcalf as well.
LIONS (DK: $3000, FD: $4000) … The Lions will have something new this week – an actual home field advantage. And with the extra days rest too, we are likely going to see them come out with a good early game plan to get some 1st Half turnovers.
BRONCOS (DK: $3900, FD: $4700) … Washington will make mistakes, this game turns into a blowout and the defense puts the icing on the cake.
