WEATHER
- SF @ CHC: Hot and wind blowing out to LF
- CWS @ KC: Hot and wind blowing out to LF
- COL @ ARI: Assume roof will remain closed

My top options today:
- Cole Ragans (DK: $7200, FD: $9000) … August pitcher of the month was a Royal. Damn straight I am firing up the Ragans train here vs Chicago. The heat and wind does lend one to think that there could be a HR from the White Sox RHH but considering Eloy/Robert are both trying hard to get placed on the season ending IL list, Tim Anderson sucks, Jake Burger is gone then what are we worried about here — Trayce Thompson hitting a homer? Big deal… Fire away Ragans.
- Merrill Kelly (DK: $9300, FD: $10.3k) … MK is great at home usually and the Rockies are obviously not a great road hitting team even though historically they have hit well in Chase Field as an organization no matter who is there. But this isn’t an easy pitching slate so I will take Kelly to bounce back after a rough game in Dodger Stadium and be closer to the 18-24 DK point range.
GUT CALL
- Jose Berrios (DK: $8800, FD: $10.1k) … Coming out of Coors, the Jays could use Berrios to give them some length today and quickly get this one over with. Oakland actually has a drastic .315 BA and a low 17% strikeout rate vs RHH over the last week & they hit curves well. So I don’t think Berrios has a smash game, but he will do ‘fine’

Top games/teams today:
- Mariners (Suarez, Hernandez, Raleigh) … They go into a tiny park on a warm weather day with a bullpen scenario from Cincinnati. If Seattle disappoints then we just take that L, but I do not see that happening.
- Houston (McCormick, Bregman) … You can’t be a LHP that the Astros know and just fire 4-seamers at them all game. Good luck to Heaney who will get torched if his off-speed is bad.

Couple guys going back into their old stomping grounds today. Chapman in Oakland and Suarez in Cincinnati. Major upside for Suarez over Chapman in that debate.
