In case you missed my predictions from yesterday’s article on the Stanley Cup Playoffs, here they are again, with tonights games bolded.
EAST
- Bruins over Panthers in 6. Florida will give them a quick scare with a G2 win in Boston but Boston takes games 3 and 6 on the road to close this out.
- Leafs over Lightning in 5. Yes, the Leafs finally do it.
- Islanders over Hurricanes in 6 or 7. Sorokin is going to steal this one
- Rangers over Devils in 7. Winner of this series is gonna cruise past Isles and I think can make the Stanley Cup Finals
WEST
- Kraken over Avalanche. All the lines on this one are too tough to back the Avs and if their Defensemen aren’t right they won’t win this series.
- Stars over Wild in 7. Lots of overtimes here.
- Vegas over Winnipeg in 6
- Oilers over Kings in 7.

- Knights over Rangers
Vegas Golden Knights
Eichel, Marchessault, Barbashev
Both the Jets and Knights were a little weak defensively down the stretch with the wingers doing a ton of damage versus them. We have a nice game stack oppportunity to pay up with Ehlers or Connor on the other side here too.
Toronto Maple Leafs
O’Reilly, Nylander, Tavares
I love what the Leafs did to bolster their depth and expect them to make a statement tonight as the Lightning are about to get sent home in 5 games.
