A solid 7-game slate tonight with some with some good games. Some teams have released early news which opened up some value for the slate. Still waiting for a few other players news to come through- Keep an eye out.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

LOGIC:
Starting off at the point guard position with CJ McCollum. The Pelicans have ruled out Brandon Ingram and downgraded Zion Williamson to doubtful. Take these two starters off the court and McCollum picks up a 7% usage boost for a total of 31%. He just dropped over 70 FPs with the two off the court and also posted a 56 and 48 as well over the last three. 20 plus shot attempts and a high assist rate will help with the upside against the Pacers who rank 18th against opposing point guards and 28th against shooting guards. The fast pace of this game will help as well.
Adding in Paul George at the shooting guard position as the Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard tonight. George pushes a 33% usage rate with Leonard off the floor and gets an excellent matchup against the Pistons who are a bottom of the barrel defense. I do not see anyone of the team slowing George down tonight.
At the small forward position I will be looking to the Pelicans. I am looking at Trey Murphy III who plays a ton of minutes, especially when the Pelicans are short a few players. He is listed as questionable now and if he sits an easy swap to Naji Marshall.
Power forward will be determined if Kyle Anderson plays. Jaden McDainels is the play of Anderson sits. He has been playing well as of late and should see high 30s in minutes. If Anderson plays then I prefer him due to the higher floor and upside. ** Pivot- Jimmy Butler was just ruled out and this opens up more time for Haywood Highsmith and Duncan Robinson. Both are good options and should play around 30 minutes.
Center position is loaded with good options. I am targeting the best matchup on the board with the Blazers centers going against the Hornets who have been smashed by opposing centers. Two options to pick from with Jusif Nurkic and Drew Eubanks. I see both of these players exceeding value tonight and leaning towards Eubanks at the cheaper price. He should see 15-20 minutes and can easily put up a double-double in that timeframe against the Hornets.
Orlando Robinson if he starts would be an excellent value at center.

TJ Warren- Nets down a few role players which will open up a few more minutes for Warren. Playing well in limited minutes off the bench and pushing 24 usage. With all the other value options Warren will come in at 2-4% ownership with 7-8 times upside.
