On this Monday we are looking at a nine-game slate starting at 7:00pm tonight. A good amount of new is already in ruling out some players.
Anthon Davis, LeBron James, Josh Giddey, Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns, Brandon Ingram, Tyrese Maxey, Kris Middleton, Clint Capela, Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter Jr, Kelly Olynyk are the higher priced players that have already been ruled out. SGA-Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was initially ruled out but has been updated to questionable status. These players open up a lot of value tonight. Picking through the best value will be key and I will give my core plays along with favorite over all plays-including favorite value plays.
Games to Target-
- Hornets/Kings – Fastest paced game with little to no defense
- Spurs/Rockets – Fast paced game and both teams rank bottom 5 defensively.
- Thunder will be a good source of value tonight (Some depends on SGA now since he is listed as questionable).

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

LOGIC:
Initially I was focused on the Thunder for value, but with SGA moving from out to questionable and LeBron James ruled out I moved to the Lakers. The Thunder still have some good value options even if SGA plays. The Lakers are without Jamed and Davis who account for about 61% of the team’s usage. Reaves also is rules out and he has been playing 30 plus minutes every night. Dennis Schroder has been playing around 30 minutes as of late and playing well over the last two games. He should see around 32-36 minutes tonight and pick up some of James and Davis usage adding in some assists and points. With a lot of the other Thunder and other value plays I do not see Schroder pickup up much ownership, and he could hit 8 plus times value at his current price. Lonnie Walker IV started out the season on fire for the Lakers and has popped off here and there since. His minutes have been consistent, but with James, Westbrook and Davis on the floor it is hard to get shots off and that is what Walker loves to do Shoot! He will get his chance tonight and should play 30 plus minutes as well. Like his chances to get 15-20 shots off and push 30 plus FPs giving him a nice return on value at only $4000. The Third Laker I like tonight would be Thomas Bryant who is finally getting some playing time on the Lakers with Davis out. Bryant has double-double ability just about every night with solid minutes and he should see around 30 tonight. Like his chances for 15 plus points and 10 plus rebounds tonight and an upside of 40 plus FPs. Using three Lakers players due to their reduced prices and the fact that they are missing two of their main players tonight. Adding in a second center in the utility spot with Domantis Sabonis. I like this play for two reasons. One, he has been playing well as of late pushing 50 or more FPS in four of his last six games showing a ceiling of 60. Second, the matchup. The Hornets are in the bottom five in overall defense and dead last against opposing centers. Just yesterday Jokic dropped 40 real points and 27 rebounds! Sabonis has a similar skill set as Jokic where he is a good scorer, rebounder and passer. Love his chances for 60 plus FPs tonight in what should be a fast paced- defense free game. The last pick/s come from the Thunder. Aaron Wiggins has shown potential this year and results when given 20 plus minutes. He should see increased minutes tonight with Giddey out and that could go up more if SGA is out as well. Wiggins has hit 20 or more FPs in three straight games and exceeding 20 FPs in just about every game he played over 20 minutes. Nice matchup tonight against the Trailblazers where the weak spot on defense is against opposing small forwards (Rank bottom 10).
**Isaiah Joe is an option only if SGA sits out. He will get more minutes if this happens and has the talent to easily hit value with 20 plus minuts.

Dimes Play
Doug McDermott AKA “Dougie Buckets”– All Doug does is get buckets! J-Rich is out tonight, and Keldon Johnson is listed as questionable. This would open up more time for McDermott and no better matchup than against the Rockets in what should be a fast paced game. Both teams run at a fast pace and play no defense. Should be a high scoring game as well.
