NHL DFS – The Slapshot
Big 13 game slate tonight. Which includes the Ducks, Stars, Devils, Predators and Oilers on back to back. Yes, the Predators did in fact play a hockey game last night. Or so that’s what we are calling it as they completely sucked nuts vs the Blues and will now be playing their third game in four nights on a back to back (as will the Dallas Stars).
This is a studs and duds slate.
OILERS
I know you are eagerly awaiting me to tell you who gets to feast upon that crappy Nashville team tonight and yes, it happens to be none other than McDavid, Draisaitl and company versus a mediocre PK unit playing their third game in four nights.

And for those of you who love attacking B2B, you now wanna guess who draws the sloppy Ducks who aren’t great with puck possession playing a B2B? Oh joy, the leafs. This is quickly setting up for a studs and duds type night in NHL DFS and the Matthews/Nylander combination should factor into this but its Tavares/Marner who are priced much better and Marner is as hot as they come

COYOTES
Time to go value hunting with all those high priced plays looking favorable. The Sharks rank dead last in Ambush ratings against LW over the last month and Clayton Keller obviously is one of the better options any day on the Coyotes when considering Coyotes. He anchors this value line stack

Don’t go full value at center tonight, it just won’t end well. I have always loved playing McDavid on B2B as well. He might get overlooked tonight.
- Connor McDavid … Yeah yeah, recommending McDavid on a big slate might feel like a cop out, but when he gets 2 G and 3 A tonight you’ll be glad you did it.

Ville Husso (Detroit) … At home I am okay with Husso. He has been good at home and the Hurricanes are not exactly dominant right now.
Other Choices
- Jack Campbell – EDM … No goalie this season has gone negative against the Predators and 40% of the time they have posted a score 20 fpts or greater.
- Petr Mrazek – CHI … Three out of the last 4 the Caps have generated a ton of SOG chances. Mrazek is a veteran enough goalie to trust to steal this win tonight.
