NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES-Monday, December 12th

I am back! Away from the real world for two weeks and now back to it. Refreshed and ready to go!

NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups.

Looking at a 7-game slate starting at 7:00pm

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups. Check it out here – DailyAmbush: NBA Dashboard

The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now. There are still a decent number of players with questionable tags.

**FPs= Fantasy Points, FPPM= Fantasy Points Per Minutes, STOCKS (Steals plus blocks).

CORE

Kyle Anderson, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5200)

With Towns out Anderson has seen an increase in minutes and has produced in all four games when playing 30 plus minutes. You are not looking at a player that is going to go out and score 30 plus points, but what he will do is contribute to all categories. A solid rebounder and passer with good defensive skills to add STOCKS. Also, he gets an excellent matchup tonight against the Blazers who rank 27th against opposing small forwards. Anderson is coming off a 32.5 FP game against this same team.

[spacer height=”20px”]

Trent Forrest, Atlanta Hawks ($3100)

Forrest is like a free square tonight. He is $3100 and should play 30 plus minutes tonight. Bogdanovic has been rules out so this will only increase his value. A chalky play, but allows you to pay up for other options.

[spacer height=”20px”]

Rudy Gobert, Minnesota Timberwolves ($7200)

Let’s take a look at the last three games from Gobert- 54, 40 and 48 FP games. Averaging 21 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 2 steals in that timeframe. Gobert is known as an excellence rebounder and elite defender, but has stepped up his scoring some with Towns off the floor. I just see him as being underpriced for his current role and expect some big games for the Wolves coming off a loss to the Blazers.

[spacer height=”20px”]
Damian Lillard, Portland Trailblazers ($10200)
Love the way Lillard is playing right now taking a ton of shots and still dropping dimes. 20 plus shots in two straight games with 15 and 7 free throw attempts in those two games as well (15-15 and 7-7. Averaging 38 points, 10 assists and two steal in that timeframe with one of those games against the Wolves. Dame will do everything he can to take down the Wolves in back-to-back games-expecting another big game from him.
