NHL DFS – The Slapshot

Lots of NBA money on this slate tonight, which generally results in either some random late scratch because those NBA MME people are a disease to hockey or it results in heavy chalk hitting because they all think they know what they are doing. So proceed accordingly with all the fears in the back of your mind now.
Oh, and the way the slate sets up, it’s a stacking slate for sure.
HURRICANES
When the season is over you’ll look back and say, man, why didn’t I stack the good Hurricanes team against the bad Ducks team on that Tuesday back in December? Yes, my friends welcome to the pain-staking decision of where we go with Carolina, a team who generally gets production from different spots but has a really nice spot for them to score 5+ tonight.
I will trust my process and ride the second line on the road along with loading up on PP1 exposure.

DEVILS
Chicago should really have a hard time penetrating the Devils today. New Jersey is good on the Penalty Kill which takes away the Blackhawks strength and so the Devils are not only a pick to win but shoot it 35+ times per game on season against a team giving up 35+ SOG over their last 5. Lots of FPTS here to pick from

PENGUINS
Well I am not writing up the first line, so you can do the math here.

KRAKEN
There’s a little benefit to facing a team on B2B that blew a 4-0 lead and then there is the fact that Seattle is just better, cheap and facing a bottom tier defense.

Not a lot to pay up for in my mind tonight. Only AM34 is above 8k and I don’t want him in Dallas. We are probably only using 2 centers on this slate outside of doing 3 correlation builds.

- Andrei Svechnikov … This is my #1 play on the entire slate tonight.
- Brady Tkachuk … Kings are 20th on the season and 15th over last month vs LW
- Jason Robertson … JR should be low owned at his price and has been on fire of late. He’s arguably one of the best wingers in hockey right now and you get him in a very contrarian spot. One off only.
- Bryan Rust … Good value here, would pair him with Malkin.
