Things switch up in the NHL this week because of Thanksgiving and the NHL always having a load of games on the Wednesday before. So we are more on a Mon-Wed-Fri for big slates this week and tonight starts off with ten games.

TOP SPOTS…
FLAMES
Good luck to Carter Hart on keeping the Flames under 4 goals tonight. Calgary shoots 36+ times per game and Philly gives up 34+ attempts – not to mention we have a pretty clear PP advantage for Calgary tonight. What we do not have for Calgary though is a good pairings on their lines. If you favor the PP then this is pretty simple, take Lindholm, Huberdeau and Andersson. If you want a full line correlation, look for Backlund/Huberdeau/Coleman to pay off as a value stack

DEVILS
Hottest team in the NHL gets a tough draw with Edmonton back on their home ice. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Oilers end the Devils long winning streak but for now I would prefer to ride the hot hand in DFS

Both teams coming off some quiet performances so I wouldn’t be shocked to see a bounce back scenario for both offenses which is more a bounce back against two bad defensive teams. Sharks win IMO.

My Pick of the day
I love how in hockey there can be an entire full slate and not one single goalie which looks great. When this happens I often find myself either going all the way to the bottom and taking the cheapest or riding a good contrarian goalie. Tonight I’ll ride the good contrarian goalie in Linus Ullmark. He is playing fantastic of late and Tampa just isn’t the vaunted offense every night right now.
If Linus doesn’t go for Boston then its pay down night.
