W Artemi Panarin (NYR)

The Rangers welcome in the Red Wings who have been dazzling at home thus far but just 1-1-0 on the road early on. Detroit allows a ton of traffic in their own zone including 35.1 shots on goal per game, fourth-most in the league thus far. Panarin has 16 points in 12 games and at just $6,600 is very affordable as a top-six forward, power-play presence, and skater who’s seen 20 or more minutes of ice time in seven of his last nine games.

C Aleksander Barkov (FLA)

Despite having just nine points in 11 games heading into Saturday night, Barkov finds himself in a tremendous matchup against the Ducks who have funneled fantasy points to the center position this season. Barkov has dealt with some bad luck early on despite having just two goals, has five games with at least four shots on goal. Look for the Panthers to force the issue against the Ducks’ leaky defense, despite having one of the better goaltenders in the NHL in John Gibson in net.
