NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES(Playoff Edition)- Sunday, April 17th
The NBA playoffs started yesterday with a 4-game slate and today we get another 4 gamer with the other eight teams. Slate starts at 1:00pm. This is a good time of the year because you will not see players resting or being ruled out right before lock for no reason. Certain players step up during the playoffs where other will struggle
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

NOTES
[spacer height=”20px”]
CORE
Chris Paul– has played well this year averaging 15 points and 11 assists per game (1.25 FPPM). Over the last eight games, Paul has put up 46 or more FPs, which is above his value at the current price of $7600. Steps up during the playoffs, so expecting a 45-50 FP game from him tonight. I do expect him to pick up some ownership and if you want a pivot (Kyle Lowry and Marcus Smart are both good options and I do not expect them to get much ownership).
[spacer height=”20px”
Zach LaVine- the Buck allow a ton of three-point shots and LaVine will take 10 plus a night if given the opportunity. A reduced price makes him a good choice and his ability to score 30 plus real points on any given night make him an excellent option tonight in this pace up game.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Jonas Valancuinas – should be on the court 35 plus minutes against the Suns tonight to counter Ayton and McGee. This is a pace up spot where Valancuinas could easily pick up double-digit rebounds and and has the potential for 15 plus in this matchup. Under-priced right now and a good time to take advantage of it. Pivot (Daniel Theis or he can be played in the utility spot)

OTHER OPTIONS
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Jalen Brown
Jimmy Butler
Brandon Ingram
Marcus Smart- will be on the floor tonight to counter Irving. He always plays well against in these types of matchups and in the playoffs.
[spacer height=”20px”]
VALUE
Danilo Gallinari– should play 35 plus minutes tonight if the game stays close. Veteran player with 40 plus FP upside.
Jae Crowder
Colby White– could put on a show if he gets going. Bucks allow a ton of threes.
Alex Caruso
Grayson Allen
Onyeka Okongwu

DIMES PLAYS
Kyle Lowry- will step his game up during the playoffs and I do not see him picking up much ownership with Paul, Irving and Young on the slate. At his 6K price , Lowry can easily deliver 6-8 times value.
