NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES(Playoff Edition)- Saturday , April 16th
The NBA playoffs start today with a 4-game slate starting at 1:00pm. This is a good time of the year because you will not see players resting or being ruled out right before lock for no reason. Certain players step up during the playoffs where other will struggle. A good time to play NBA with the MLB season starting up.
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

NOTES
Luka Doncic will sit out the first game against the Jazz.
DraftKings has softer prices started out in this first round. Jokic and Embiid are 10.6K and 10.4K respectively while they were both 12K plus. Most of the players have reduced pricing.
A lot of solid options and other can be used, but these are my favorites to Target.

CORE
Spencer Dinwiddie– Dinwiddie has played well when Luka Doncic sat out. Averaging 33.5 minutes and 36 FPs over six games with a high of 44.5. The Mavericks will need Dinwiddie to take a similar role today in order for this game to stay close and I see him doing that. I see him and Brunson having similar games, but Dinwiddie is a bit cheaper (Both are in play with Doncic out).

Maxi Kleber or Danny Green(Can play Both)- These two are my favorite value plays for tonight. Both under 4K and have 8-10x upside. Green has seen more minutes as of late and just dropped 36 FPs on the Raptors. Kleber will have an easier time over Powell due to his ability to shoot the 3.
[spacer height=”20px”]
D’Angelo Russell-has been playing well as of late and should continue into the playoffs. 20 plus points in three of the kart four games and his assist rate is up as well. The place to attack the Nuggets is at the guard position.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Draymond Green-should see more minutes tonight as the Warriors will need his defense out there most of the night. Like his chances for a triple double tonight.

OTHER OPTIONS
Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid-I think they both hit value at their current price. Leaning towards Jokic as he is the main option for the Nuggets. Embiid should still hit 50 plus, but may be limited with Harden(who should step up in the playoffs) and Tobias Harris(who I like a lot today).
The Real OG Anunoby
Steph Curry
Bojan Bogdonivic
Pascal Siakam – played extremely well vs Sixers this year
[spacer height=”20px”]
VALUE
Kevon Looney- should see additional time against Jokic.
Monte Morris
Jeff Green- Uncle Jeff is always ready for the playoffs.
Precious Achiuwa
Brandon Clarke

DIMES PLAYS
Tobias Harris– has played well over the past few years in the playoffs. Averaging 15.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4 assists in 2020 and 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The Raptors will set their focus on Embiid giving Harris some more opportunities and he has shown to take advantage of them during the playoffs.
**Options to help build lineups- Take these core plays and enter into optimizer with your favorite settings (rating, FBrating, FBprojections, FunkProjections, ownership or ratings).
