- Scheifele and the Jets host the Detroit Red Wings who’ll be playing their second game in as many nights. Detroit skated well last night and won despite being under siege for the majority of the game allowing 50 shots on goal. Goaltender Alex Nedelijkovic stood on his head en route to a 5-3 victory. If a tired Detroit team allows that kind of pressure again, chances are the outcome will not be the same. Scheifele is too cheap for a guy with 65 points in 64 games this season in a prime matchup.
W Vladimir Tarasenko (STL)
- It’s no secret that this season has been a struggle for the expansion Seattle Kraken and this matchup doesn’t bode well for a team that is 10-21-3 on the road this season. St. Louis sits at 22-9-4 at home and has the second-best power-play matching up against the third-worst penalty kill. Part of that powerplay unit is Tarasenko who has five power-play goals and 18 points overall on the man-advantage. Priced at $6,800 Vlad ranks as the seventh-highest priced winger on the slate.
