NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES(Quick Hits Edition)- Friday , March 18th

Looking at an 12-game slate starting at 7:00pm

Massive 12-game slate with a lot of options. Scoring should be high tonight.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now.

NOTES
  • IF-Trae Young sits out then Kevin Huerter becomes a CORE play. Also, look at Bogdonavic and Hunter
  • IF- Joel Embiid sits out then James Harden becomes a TOP PAY UP OPTION
  • IF-Jimmy Butler sits out the Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo become good plays along with Duncan Robinson for value.
  • IF-D’Aaron Fox sits out then you can look at Domantas Sabonis, Donte DiVincenzo and Davion Mitchell

CORE
**Goga Bitadze-would be a good option for a core play if he is a go tonight. Listed as questionable again. Elite matchup and the Pacers are down a few big men).
**Kevin Huerter if Trae Young sits out.

Rudy Gobert,  UTAH JAZZ ($7400)
The Jazz will be without two of their starters tonight (Donovan Mitchell and Bogdanovic). This opens up a ton of usage as these two as top three usage players on the team. This gives Gobert a nice bump in usage. He has been playing extremely well over this year and is averaging 32 minutes, 15 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks over the last three games. The Jazz play the Clippers tonight at home where Gobert should do well in this matchup. Good chance he hits 7-8 times value tonight.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Deni Avdija, WASHINGTON WIZARDS ($3300)
Avdija has been coming off the bench, but playing 28 and 29 minutes over the past two games. He has hit double-digit scoring in both of those games while adding in 7 rebounds in one. Looks like they will give the kid some run as the season starts to wind down. He has proven he can play in the league and contribute to the team. His price is one of the main reasons why I am on him tonight and the fact that he has been seeing close to 30 minutes. Small forward is the one position to attack the Knicks at with them ranking 3rd to last defending the position. They have been pretty solid against the other four position.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Jaylen Brown, BOSTON CELTICS ($7500)
The price on Brown has come down a lot over the past few weeks from close to 9K to now 7.5K. He was over 9k early in February. Poor shooting has been the main reason that Brown has seen a dive in his fantasy performance as of late and this helped reduce the price. I love this matchup for the Celtic and Brown tonight as they get a nice bump in pace tonight and an excellent matchup. Shot attempts have been there with over 20 in two of the last three games and rebounds have been solid. This is a good game for him to get back on track and deliver a nice 50 BURGER at low ownership.

Jordan Clarkson, UTAH JAZZ ($5800)

Clarkson has been playing wellover the past four games dropping 54.5 FPS three games ago and 36.8 last game. Minutes have been up as well exceeding 32 plus in the last three. With the Jazz down two key players they will lean on Clarkson tonight for scoring as he has the highest usage(just shy of 30%) with Mitchell and Bogdanovic off the floor.

DIMES PLAYS
Kris Dunn- was picked up by the Blazers earlier this week and has seen some time on the court the past two games. He played 20 and 28 minutes and put up 14.8 and 26.3 FPs. Good Chance he plays over 20 minutes again tonight with the Blazers down so many players. Active when on the court and contributes in all categories. Love this play at only 3K where he could push 30 plus FPs tonight.
