Overview

Thursday brings with it 13 games in the NHL featuring some potentially high-scoring and one-sided affairs. With a packed slate like this, there are obviously plenty of options to consider. I’ll help in sorting through those choices and point you in the right direction.

C Auston Matthews (TOR)

Although he’s the highest-priced skater on the slate, it’s hard to fade AM34 tonight as he faces the Arizona Coyotes, one of the worst defensive teams in the league, especially against the center position. Matthews is coming off a hat trick and has six goals during his three-game goal-scoring streak. With plenty of value here on this packed slate finding a way to get AM34 in shouldn’t be difficult.

C Jack Eichel (VGK)

Eichel returns to Buffalo for the first time as a member of the Golden Knights. Jack has points in back-to-back games and at least four shots in each of his last six games including nine in his last contest. It’ll be an emotional return for the Sabres captain but at the end of the day the matchup is great and his ownership will be suppressed.

W Brady Tkachuk (OTT)

In a game with two of the poor teams of the league, Tkachuk comes in with goals in back-to-back games and finds a good matchup against the Kraken. He finds his salary down at $5,800, a good price for this matchup with Tkachuk’s ability to get the puck to the net.
