The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

CORE
Kelly Oubre, CHARLOTTE HORNETS ($5900)
Back to the well with Oubre as the Hornets are still down Hayward and are running tight rotation. Last game, Oubre playe 36 minutes and took 19 shots while adding in a few rebounds in a somewhat tough matchup. Tonight, the Hornets get a plus matchup against the Pistons who rank 26th in defensive efficiency. This should be a good night for Oubre and the Hornets

Hamidou Diallo, DETROIT PISTONS ($4600) Only if Cade Cunningham sits out ** (Matisse Thybulle is another core option at only $3300 on DK- he could be used if Diallo does not start and Cunningham is playing).
This game is one to target some players with as the Pistons and Hornet are two of the worst defensive teams in the league and they both run at a fast pace. Over the past four games, Diallo has averaged 27 minutes and 32.8 FPs, He has taken double-digit shots in each of those games and exceeded 10 rebounds in two of the four. This is an excellent matchup for him tonight where he should get off 15 plus shot and grab double-digit rebounds while pickup up a few stocks. Love this spot for him, especially if Cunningham sits out again.

Bones Hyland, DENVER NUGGETS($3800)
The Nuggets will be without Monte Morris tonight , which should give Hyland some additional minutes and usage. Last game he played 25 minutes and scoring 22 points. He could get the start tonight against the Celtics, but either way he will have a bigger role. Just about every time he plays more than 20 minutes he puts up over 20 FPS. This may not be the easiest matchup, but the price is low and he should easily pay off his salary.

Devin Vassell, SAN ANTONIO SPURS ($4000)
The Spurs traded away Derrick White who started and played close to 30 minutes a night and had a 20 plus % usage rate. This will open up a starting spot and around 30 minutes for a few players (Devin Vassell, Lonnie Walker IV- who is in play as well tonight, and Josh Primo). Vassell has been the most consistent of this bunch and most likely candidate to pick up the start. He has taken double-digit shot attempts in 18 of the last 20 games and is a above average re bounder for a guard. The will be a fast paced game and the Hawks are a mediocre defense. This is a good spot for the Spurs tonight.

Payton Pritchard- taking a chance here, but he should see an increased roll with J Rich and Schroder off the team now. Kid has talent and shown the ability to score. Could get over looked tonight and I could see him playing 20 plus minutes and putting up over 20 FPs .
