NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES-Wednesday, FEBRUARY 9th

Looking at an 6-game slate starting at 7pm.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now. There are still a decent number of players with questionable tags.

NOTES

Trade deadline is tomorrow and trades keep going down, so keep an eye on player status throughout the day.

**Hornets are playing a tight rotation- a good team to target players.

Blazers and Thunder  are a good teams to target value.

CORE

Kelly Oubre, CHARLOTTE HORNETS ($5600)

The Hornets lost Gordon Hayward for a while and Oubre came in for him and played 38 minutes and took 17 shots. He has shown the ability to have big games when given the minutes and he should see 35 plus again tonight. The Hornets play against the Bulls tonight at home in a faster paced game. The  Bulls are allowing the 4th most FPs to opposing small forwards over the past seven games, so Oubre should be in line for a big game.

Justice Winslow, PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS ($4500)
Winslow plays well when given minutes, so if he starts tonight again then I would have interest. Averaging just shy of a FPPM on the season and would need around 25 or so minutes to pay off his price. This is an excellent matchup against the Lakers tonight who run at a faster pace and have been mediocre on defense.  The Blazers are down a good amount of players and will most likely need Winslow to pick up some of the usage along with Simons and Nurkic.

PJ Washington, CHARLOTTE HORNETS($4900)
Washington has seen his minute move up as of last logging 32 last game and he should see similar minutes tonight with Hayward out. The Hornets have been running a tight rotation and this only means more minutes for the starters and few bench players they have been using. Oubre and Washington have been the two off the bench last game. Both of their minutes will increase now and they are both a bit under-priced. Bulls rank 22nd against opposing power forwards.

Aleksej Pokusevski- is back up with the Thunder and played 26 minutes last night.
