NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES-Tuesday, FEBRUARY 1st

Looking at an 7-game slate starting at 7pm.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now. There are still a decent number of players with questionable tags.

NOTES

[spacer height=”20px”]

CORE

Spencer Dinwiddie, WASHINGTON WIZARDS ($5900)

The Wizard will once again be without Bradley Beal tonight and Dinwiddie has the highest usage on the team with him off the floor.  With Beal out, Dinwiddie has average 34.5 minutes and just shy of 43 FPs. Pace up spot against the Bucks and matchup is with the Bucks rank 20th against opposing PGs. The Bucks also allow 7th most 3-point shots and Dinwiddie lets it fly from behind the arc averaging around seven attempts over the last 10 games. Good spot for him at under 6K where he only needs 29.5 FPs to hit value.

Jordon Poole, GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS ($5500)
The Warriors ruled out Steph Curyy, Andrew Wiggins , Klay Thompson and Otto Porter Jr and were already without Draymond Green leaving Poole to lead the team tonight. This should be a high scoring-fast paced game where Poole shout take close to 20 shots and play 30 plus minutes and hit value as he is averaging .9 FPPM on the season with the full team. Take these players off the court and Poole has a 34.4% usage rate and his FPPM move to 1.35. Excellent spot for Poole tonight at a discounted price.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Nick Claxton, BROOKLYN NETS  ($4100)
Nets will be down Aldridge and Milsap opening up more minutes for Claxton. He has played well when given the opportunity. Just about a FPPM player with upside in the high 30s . I can see him playing 25-30 minutes tonight and pushing close to 30 FPs.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Jonathan Kuminga, GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS ($4000) **IF he starts
Kuminga has seen his minutes dwindle as of late, but should pick up the start tonight and play 25-30 minutes as the Warriors are down five key players tonight. He comes in with the 2nd highest usage when these players sits out and has shown 40 FP upside earlier this year. A good spot in a fast paced game where he can push for a double-double and get the bonus on DK. The model rates him as the best value play on the slate tonight.
Just missed the core….
  • Jimmy Butler
  • Gary Payton II
  • Kyle Kuzma
Top Pay Up Spots (along with the players above-just missed core)
  • Dejounte Murray
  • Chris Paul
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Pascal Siakam
