The Slapshot – Friday, Feb 26th

Short three game Friday slate with a few more COVID PPD games out there.

  1. Boston at NY Rangers
  2. LA Kings at Minnesota Wild
  3. Colorado Avalanche at Arizona Coyotes

The order those games are listed in are the order I would consider the chalk for game stacks today.  Bostons top line should garner a ton of exposure and getting two of Bergeron-Pastrnak-Marchand is likely the most probable floor combination you should get today.

  • Patrice Bergeron (C)
  • David Pastrnak (W)
  • Charlie McAvoy (D)
  • Nick Richie (W)

Outside of that, the Wild and Kings have met quite a few times already this season and they’ve been better than advertised games.  The Kings are still giving up a lot of shots (almost 33 a game) and so the Wild are in a good spot to provide some value tonight.

  • Joel Erikkson Ek (C)
  • Victor Rask (C)
  • Ryan Suter (D)
  • Drew Doughty (D)

The Avs vs Coyotes game probably has the most sneaky upside as Colorado is eventually gonna get going hot again.  They would be the high $ pivot off Boston 1.

  • Nathan MacKinnon (C)
  • Gabriel Landeskog (W)
  • Nazeem Kadri (C)

CORE LOCK:   Bergeron, Pastrnak, McAvoy – Boston

BEST VALUE:  Jordan Greenway, Kirill Kaprizov, Victor Rask – Minnesota

TOP GOALIE:  Grubauer (COL)
