NFC South is front and center tonight as the Atlanta Falcons prepare to humiliate themselves on National TV again against the Carolina Panthers.
Probably the biggest story line on this game is the weather as remnants of Hurricane Zeta pass by with some rain and wind concerns coming into play. Winds will be anywhere from 7 MPH up to 20 MPH gusts, and if it were sustained I would be worried but I doubt we see a HUGE impact on the wind hurting this game. I am proceeding as this being a high scoring game and a smash spot for one specific QB->WR combination tonight.
Game Prediction
Carolina’s defense continues to play way too much zone to be able to slow down the passing attack of the Falcons tonight. Look for Julio Jones to have his best game in years tonight against their soft zone and lack of a true physical shutdown cornerback. That doesn’t mean Atlanta wins, but their offense is going to be a funnel to the pass, which should be contrarian a little given that everyone wants to roster RB vs Carolina.
Panthers win 31-28
