Two markets are pricing Giants at Rams: DFS ownership and the anytime touchdown board. Both assume a home Los Angeles offense erases the 27-7 opener in Australia. Our showdown ratings and projections disagree in three places:
- The Rams’ touchdown prices: the two favorites to score are the two rows our model supports least.
- Los Angeles’ backfield: the cheaper back is the only fairly priced score on the board.
- Ownership: more than half the field is buying one $9,600 ceiling while four comparable ones sit under 10%.
Model vs. market: anytime touchdowns
We convert projected rushing and receiving touchdowns into a probability of scoring at least once, then set it against the best price at the major US books. Our touchdown projections run low across the board, so the ratio matters more than the gap.
| Player | Best price | Market | Model | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kyren WilliamsLAR · RB | -175 | 63.6% | 56.7% | 0.89 |
| Davante AdamsLAR · WR | -115 | 53.5% | 20.8% | 0.39 |
| Cam SkatteboNYG · RB | +120 | 45.5% | 30.4% | 0.67 |
| Malik NabersNYG · WR | +220 | 31.3% | 17.2% | 0.55 |
| Blake CorumLAR · RB | +220 | 31.3% | 36.0% | 1.15 |
| Colby ParkinsonLAR · TE | +280 | 26.3% | 19.2% | 0.73 |
Adams at 0.39 is the largest single disagreement here: a juiced price on a receiver our model has at 3.7 catches and 43.8 yards, set on last season’s reputation rather than Week 1 usage. Williams’ 0.89 is close enough to fair that his price is not the problem — his cost elsewhere is. Corum is the only row where we see more equity than the market, and one book has noticed: BetMGM is down to +135 while the rest of the board sits between +193 and +220.
Model vs. market: ownership
Ownership concentrates hard: Williams 51.9%, the Rams’ kicker 38.8%, Matthew Stafford 28.0%, Corum 23.3%. Nothing else clears 17%. Williams earns his 28.4 ceiling, so the field is not wrong about the player; it is paying $9,600 for the same outcome on more than half of all rosters. The three ceilings directly behind him — 25.5, 24.6, 24.3 — cost 8.9%, 5.9% and 7.7% owned.
Defense is where the board and the field have drifted furthest apart. We rate the Rams’ unit 90.4 overall against 16.8 for the Giants, yet both sit near 7% owned. At $4,200 that is a cheap way to be right about the favorite without paying favorite prices for the skill players.
Team context worth carrying
- Los Angeles: Adams led the NFL with 14 receiving touchdowns last season, then drew zero targets inside the 20 in Week 1 on 54% of the snaps. That is the case against his -115.
- New York: the Giants converted 9 of 11 third downs in Week 1 and averaged a league-high 59.4 yards per possession. Holding the ball caps the drive count here, which makes every touchdown price on both sides slightly too short.

Captain and build
Jaxson Dart takes the multiplier. His 25.5 ceiling is fourth in the pool at 8.9% owned, and the script that gets him there is the likely one: a touchdown-plus road underdog indoors throws. Los Angeles is without Myles Garrett and starting a backup at free safety with Kamren Kinchens ruled out. Dart led all quarterbacks with 11 carries in Week 1, which our rushing projection is too conservative about.

The bets
- Blake Corum anytime TD, +220 (Fanatics; +200 DraftKings). Model 36.0% against an implied 31.3%, and BetMGM’s move to +135 says the number is heading our way.
- Kyren Williams over 63.5 rushing yards, -110 (DraftKings; -113 FanDuel). We project 91.7 on 17 carries against a Giants front that has not been tested against volume. We fade his DFS price, not his workload.
- Malik Nabers under 5.5 receptions, -113 (DraftKings). We project 4.0 catches on 6.8 targets; the price implies 53%, our model says 66%. The snap counts coming out of Week 1 back the Under, not the target share.
No total and no spread. The Over is plus money only at the sharpest market — the six books have 47.5 at -105 — and the underdog moneyline our board flagged does not exist at a price you can get.
