NHL DFS Slapshot – Dec 18th

As usual a heavy Thursday night slate and it’s one that screams overs out there in the land.  Might be a good night to get in a bunch of YOLO anytime goal or point+ props parlays as a little Xmas lottery ticket on the betting side.

For DFS, you have plenty of pay up options with some good mid-range stacks too.  Focus on those SE contests to avoid the MME crowd tonight.

PAY UP SPOTS

  • OILERS:  McDavid – Hyman – Nugent-Hopkins
  • WILD:  Eriksson Ek – Boldy – Kaprizov – Hughes/Faber
  • STARS:   Hintz – Benn – Robertson – Heiskanen

GAME STACKS

HAWKS vs HABS:  Too many young guys here on the Blackhawks side as they’re down Bedard as well tonight.  I think we get some open skating and plenty of goals in this one.

  • ‘HAWKS:   Frank Nazar, Tyler Bertuzzi, Andre Burakovsky & Nick Lardis (One off)
  • HABS:  Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Zack Bolduc

ISLAND STACKS

  • FLYERS (Couturier – Tippett – Sanheim):  Philly gets to go into Buffalo ahead of the Eagles/Bills game and in this case, I think the edge is on the Philly side.  The Sabres are coming back home after their west coast swing, likely will be a little flat & their 85% penalty kill rate is bound to come down.  I can just hear the words “Sanheim assisted by Couturier” on a PP goal to start this game.
  • RANGERS (Zibanejad – Panarin – Lafreniere):  Nobody in their right mind touches a team who just scored 1 goal in two home games vs the Ducks & Canucks, right?  Yep.  Get away from MSG and get right tonight.  This line scores twice.
  • FLAMES PP (Kadri – Huberdeau – Andersson)
