GAMES OF THE WEEK
- Dolphins at Texans … Crazy, but I like Miami.
- Commanders at Saints … This one has the feels of the Saints turning it over into easy Commanders points and then there’s just so much big plays that this game finishes 41-23 with lots of flames.
SNEAKY GAME
- Steelers at Eagles … We should get a competitive game with the Eagles passing game having to show up. This makes me like Hurts slightly but AJ Brown even more as the “squeeky” wheel gets fed this week and with the Steelers down Pickens one could say how are they gonna move the ball — but trust me, Wilson will have a moon ball or two here and a random Mike Williams/Calvin Austin or Van Jefferson sighting is gonna occur. My money is on Austin.
Great Football Game. Not the Prime DFS Game
- Bills at Lions … The Bills are coming off the wild game in L.A. last week and the Lions are coming off back to back Thursday home games. Buffalo will win this week and it won’t be the shootout that one might expect, but I gotta think you’re a fool if you feel it’s 17-13 type game. Either way, it’s one of these games which gets all the perceived DFS hype/ownership and actually comes in reasonable in terms of ownership. I still contend that the way to beat Detroit is with the running game, chewing up the clock, making them go on their long methodical drives and then limit it in the red zone. Buffalo has that EXACT ability and if that happens, you get a game with limited possessions and thus limited scoring.
- Will Levis (DK: $5000, FD: $6600) … Cincinnati’s rough defense on a short week playing back to back road games is enough to justify taking a dirt cheap Levis who is really nothing more than just taking a cheap QB who has a path to 20 and moving on.
- Jalen Hurts (DK: $8000, FD: $8500) … I trust Hurts to have a good passing game, but if we have him in a winning lineup then we need him to do it with his legs as well.
Also expect to do okay …

This is another week with a heavy amount of RB that are good plays. Not as drastic in the backup/value category as a week ago, but still the spot to build most lineups around using 3 RB.

- Derrick Henry … Nah man. Cutting off the dreads was a mistake.
- Tee Higgins (DK: $6800, FD: $7800) — We should love Chase for all the right reasons, but Higgins has to get open enough and especially in the RZ to warrant using him here.
- AJ Brown (DK: $8000, FD: $8600) … I’m all in on the Eagles passing game showing up and that cannot happen without Brown being involved more.
- Amari Cooper (DK: $5300, FD: $5900) … This is how we sprinkle some action on this game. Cooper’s too cheap for being the one that should get the target volume against a good Lions pass rush.
