Some random thoughts on this weeks games.
- This is the Lions first outdoor game of the season. That is just wild and Jared Goff has always been more of an indoor QB.
- I just cannot see Jameis Winston winning two games in a row. Gimme the Chargers and their defense
- I cannot see the Patriots winning two games in a row. Gimme the Titans and their defense to bounce back

Caleb Williams (DK: $6100, FD: $7200)
I have the exact same feeling at Quarterback this week as I did last year when CJ Stroud went off for his breakout 5 TD game. And much like last season it’s a rookie Quarterback who gets that mantle for me in Caleb Williams. He had been playing better going into last week, before struggling for three quarters, but had a solid 4th Quarter before his coaching staff completely botched the game on the Redskins final drive of the game. This can very much be the shootout everyone is ignoring out in Arizona as the Cardinals will run at will on Chicago and move at a fast tempo, while Chicago is able to move it through the air and Caleb extends plays when he has too.
Arizona is the third highest comp % against on the slate – almost dead even with the Pantehrs who everyone wants to attack & Caleb’s got his full stable of WR and is better in the accuracy department over his second month in the NFL.
This weeks Longshot “QB Dont Matter” Play
Bryce Young (DK: $4400)
He is almost free, which to be honest, DraftKings should give you free crowns or something for using him. But, we always have that longshot cheap QB and one again I am going to the bottom with a guy nobody wants to touch. Can you name three defensive backs on the Saints? Fuck, can you name two? Most of you cannot name one even who will be out there today and they’re getting no pressure from the DL at all. Young can scramble and get 30 yards rushing as he himself has limited passing options. When he rushes one in like Rudolph, he’ll be doing decent value in a lineup that fits “QB dont matter” — except this week of course Caleb Williams is the guy.
Kenneth Walker (DK: $7300, FD: $8000)
Way too many times of late I have anchored my DFS builds without a “STUD” running back and it burns me going for the mid range guys. While Walker is not in the Henry, Barkley, Kamara tier, he still does have a good enough floor most weeks and I love a good RB coming off a low usage or bad game. We could see this game play with good tempo/pace too and that favors the RB generally more than we admit.
Tyrone Tracy (DK: $5500, FD: $6200)
Tracy is really getting overlooked and I am not sure why? Is it the concussion concerns? Are you really concerned with David Montgomery? Tracy has clearly been the best RB for the Giants & the Washington rush defense is giving up a high % of touchdowns on the ground
Chuba Hubbard (DK: $6500, FD: $6900)
Another high usage chance against a bad rush defense and a pivot off the other RB in this game who might be 50% owned today.
Chase Brown (DK: $5900, FD: $6300)
Once again no Tee Higgins for Cincinnati and a look ahead spot to a big TNF game next week. Get it over and pound both RB.
DJ Moore (DK: $6500, FD: $6600)
It’s really come down to a 3 man group at WR for the Bears and Keenan Allen got his last week. Step up to either DJ Moore or Rome Odunze (or both?? Yes!). Odunze is a terrific value so you can go with a two WR stack without much pain in your roster builds this week.
Drake London (DK: $6700, FD: $6900)
Of the chalk WR I like London more than Lamb and Olave.
Puka Nacua (DK: $7200, FD: $8100)
The Rams/Seahawks game is an interesting one. The Rams are healthy again on offense and coming in with a little extra rest too. With Stafford having both his WR available he should be able to run it quick and get each of them a ton of receptions.
Marvin Harrison (DK: $6900, FD: $7000)
Between Harrison, Connor and McBride, there’s gotta be a run it back from Arizona for this game to be what I think it is and I’m not gonna let myself off the hook if I do not go with Harrison Jr., banking on that Kyler air it out game to finally show up.

- Taysom Hill (DK: $3900, FD: $5900) … Always Taysom in the Division and … well, they have literally NO RB besides Kamara and him this week. They got no WR outside of Olave and … LOL MVS. C’mon. Taysom’s gotta get tons of usage this week.
- Brock Bowers (DK: $6000, FD: $7700) … Always Brock? Guy should be 7k. Hurry it up DraftKings.
