A solid night last night, a good way to break the seal officially now a couple weeks into the NHL season. Let’s run it back tonight.
Teams on back to back tonight:
- San Jose
RANGERS
Caps cannot stop the Rangers tonight. Four goals coming for certain, with two likely on the PK
- Zibanejad – Kreider – Smith
L.A. KINGS
Not just the B2B, but a veteran team beating up on the Sharks is too tempting to ignore. I feel like that Kevin Fiala game is gonna hit sweet tonight.
- Danault – Fiala – Moore
BLUES vs SENS
Ottawa just did a quick midwest trip where they didn’t score less than 4 goals a game & when facing good teams (Vegas/Colorado) they lost despite that fact. So, yeah, we load up with the Blues coming to town as St. Louis gives up over 31 shots per game themselves. St. Louis is expected to start Joel “Future” Hofer in net, and he has been very good thus far, so you could lean on the leverage with him as a goalie option for saves, but a shutout is definitely contrarian. Not sure how they slow down Stuetzle and the Norris-Giroux-Batherson line has PP upside while offering a good value.
