C Connor McDavid (EDM)

There are a number of directions to go tonight with 13 games on the slate but I’m looking to start with McDavid in a matchup against the Red Wings which should be a lot of fun to watch. This game features to of the fastest skaters in the league in McDavid and Detroit’s Dylan Larkin. McDavid has been rolling off late posting 34.5, 20, and 13 DK points in his last three games. Look for some scoring in this game in a potential up and down affair.

W Brendan Gallagher (MTL)

Last night’s value play paid dividends with Tyler Seguin cashing in and I’m digging a little deeper in the bargain basket for tonight. Brendan Gallagher, once a more prominent goal scorer in this league has been on the downturn for a bit here and with that he’s priced down at $2,900 in a soft matchup against the Sharks. San Jose is 3-17-1 on the road this season and overall allows the most goals per game (4.1) and shots on goal per game (35.5) in the league. Gallagher, who’s the ninth-highest rated winger on our model tonight finds time on the ice at even strength as well as on the power play against one of the league’s worst penalty kill unit’s.
