Pretty big slate tonight as the NHL took center stage with the NBA doing their Vegas in-season tournament thingy. And that’s also a nice relief considering we do not have any CFB bowl games and there is a pretty lame NFL game tonight as well.
All total there are 13 games tonight and only one of them does not have a 6.5 total.
Unless you are doing a TON of lineups the only way to approach a slate like tonight is to rule out half the slate and cross off certain games. This can also be a spot where you ignore certain areas due to the pricing as well so be smart in that regard.
TIER 1
Ducks at Blackhawks: This will be a 4-3 OT or shootout final. Strome/Vatrano 2 man combo for the Ducks is nice, but so too is the price on Carlsson and Terry. Simple run it back is Connor Bedards line with Beauvillier being way too cheap at $3500 and Kurashev with the highest xGoals on the line also being sub 5k and against a bad defense.

Kings at Canadiens: This is a great spot for the Kings. Can we go back to the Danault line again for more magic? I say fuck yes, and I would like Trevor Moore to show up tonight
TIER 2
Blue Jackets at Islanders: I love the new Law firm here of Horvat-Barzal & Lee. But someone has to score twice out of that group to really push you above the rest of the options today. Good second tier/value stack. The spot on this game I would invest in is going for some Blue Jackets defense with Werenski/Provorov both being in great spots tonight.

- NYI: Horvat, Barzal and Lee
Buffalo at Boston: I wouldn’t go heavy on this game with both PK looking okay, but we know Buffalo has their faults of late stopping opposing centers and both Pastrnak and Marchand are also coming off a solid game, so look for Boston to strike early and control this one as expected (-250 on the ML). One of Coyle or Zacha makes sense for sure, with Marchand being my preferred winger at $7200 instead of nearly 10k for Pasta.

AVOIDS
- Sharks at Red Wings: I don’t see the Sharks generating enough offense to warrant pushing hard on this game. Detroit is good at home and I would trust we can find enough offense elsewhere to try and fade a chalky Wings top line today.
- Lightning at Predators: Too pricey, avoid.
