NHL DFS – The Slapshot
We are back to a medium sized NHL DFS slate tonight with five games. I think there is an advantage backing teams who played last night tonight.
Teams on back to back: Boston, Pittsburgh, Calgary, Vegas
The bummer for me tonight is that I am playing it right down the middle and it’s a slate which is sized where you can definitely get away with contrarian/leverage spots. I just see the ‘obvious’ teams below doing well.
KNIGHTS
Karlsson – Smith – Kessel – Pietrangelo
Second line on the road feeling on a back to back after they got a goal from Amadio last night they should get one from the second line tonight.
FLAMES
Lindholm – Huberdeau – Toffoli – Andersson
All about the PP getting right. Calgary’s PP hasn’t been elite but the Kraken’s PK has been pretty bad. I trust Calgary to score 4+ team goals tonight, so take that bet if you prefer finding the right combination in DFS but this is a spot to prioritize along with the Vegas/Ducks game.
PENGUINS
#87 – Guentzel – Rakell – Letang/Pettersson
In this case, if it looks like a duck, it smells like a duck and it walks and quacks like a duck, it’s a f’n Penguin. Kris Letang on a back to back is the big wild card here, I can see Marcus Pettersson (PP2) doing well since Detroit is very generous to opposing defenseman.
CENTERS
- Elias Lindholm … All the Flames center grade out well tonight. Lindholm takes slightly fewer shots on the PP than Kadri but is also $1k cheaper.

Linus got the rest last night and they wanted him to face the Devils today. Look for lots of SOG but the Bruins to control this game and get the road win.
