NHL DFS – The Slapshot
We are off after tonight until next Tuesday (the 27th) while the NHL takes a break for the Christmas Holiday weekend. There are two games which have been PPD today so this is now down to just 11 games today as the Detroit-Ottawa and Tampa Bay-Buffalo games have been wiped out due to weather.
Imagine that, Hockey games being PPD due to weather. What a world.
There are a good number of teams on back to back tonight, of which the ones who are facing a team not on a back to back include: Boston (at New Jersey), NY Islanders (home vs Florida), Edmonton (home vs Vancouver), Arizona (home vs LA), Anaheim (home vs Calgary).
BLUE JACKETS vs BLACKHAWKS
CBJ: Laine, Gaudreau, Johnson
CHI: Domi, Kane, Tyler Johnson, Seth Jones
Jackets vs Hawks. Blue vs Black. Bad vs Bad. Neither defense is very good, the Hawks are giving up 3.8 GPG on the season and the Blue Jackets are worse at 4.0. Both teams are terrible on the PK and struggling of late… This could and should be a major shit show featuring goals from Laine and Kane all night long…
HURRICANES

Love the Stars tonight. Montreal’s trying their best, but sorry, they just cant hold up and should go back to giving up 5+ goals tonight, this is a great pay up pivot off Edmonton for tournaments.

- Anze Kopitar … Mr. Coyote killer and has been very quiet of late, he’s due for a 2 to 3 point game.

I think Alex Ovechkin will pass Gordie Howe tonight, but that’s more of a betting pick because in DFS there’s lots of pivots off him and I do not see this being an Ovi hatty spot.

- Ilya Sorokin – Islanders – 7600 … This price vs Florida is always tempting given how many shot attempts they generate.
- Stuart Skinner – Oilers – 8000
- Juuse Saros – Nashville – 7100 … Saros always has the ability to pull out a nice game. The Avs are playing better and have that break out game we’ve been waiting for coming but I can see this being a worthy longshot play.
