Back at it again with a 10-game slate tonight on Wednesday. There are already players ruled out with some additional players listed as questionable.
Continue to keep an eye on players status as this is the key to just about every NBA slate. One player sitting out can open up a few other options. Tonight’s articles core plays will focus on value allowing for some higher priced players for the remaining spots.

Looking at a 10-game slate starting at 7:00pm
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

Tonight’s core plays will all be value plays $5500 and under allowing to pay up for the remaining spots.
CORE
Bogdan Bogdanovic, Atlanta Hawks ($5000)
The Hawks are already down a few key players and could be without Trae Young as well tonight. Bogdanovic has been playing at a high level over the last few games hitting 20 plus real points and contributing to all offensive categories. The key here is that he is taking close to 20 shots a game and that he is underpriced. Whether Young plays or not, Bogdanovic is a must play tonight at his price against the Magic who rank in the bottom five defensively over the past two weeks.

Daniel Gafford, Washington Wizards ($3800)
The Wizards are another team missing a few key players in Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingas. The majority of the usage goes to Kyle Kuzma with Monte Morris and Jordan Goodwin right behind. Gafford may not be a high usage player, but he does have high upside in limited minutes as long as he can stay out of foul trouble. The low price along with increased minutes and his ability to drop 40 FPs in only 24 minutes make him an excellent play tonight.
Alex Caruso, Chicago Bulls ($3600)
It looks like Caruso will be back tonight after missing a few games. He started the last four games prior to sitting due to a back injury and should start tonight. When you look at his game logs you will see a low floor and a 30 plus FP ceiling and I willing to take a shot at a ceiling game for him tonight against the Knicks who have allowed the 2nd most-FPS to opposing point guards over the last two weeks. Minutes (should see around 30) plus $3600 price along with the matchup make him an excellent play tonight.

Dimes Play
Will Barton– gets a go at his former team tonight. He should be in line for 30 plus minutes with both Beal and Porzingas out. Barton is a triple-threat with his ability to score along with rebound and pass well. He has a few games with 7 rebounds, 7 assists and double-digit points and could be in line for a similar line for a similar stat line tonight with the Wizards down two key starters.
