GAME HEADLINES
Eagles come in as heavy road favorites as expected and offensively they are healthy but missing their star rookie DT, Jordan Davis. The Texans WR Brandin Cooks is questionable tonight due to being upset that he wasn’t traded again.
Philadelphia is not likely to falter and lose their first game to Houston, but it is a road Thursday game for them so I expect it to remain closer than most would assume.

Captains Pick
Jalen Hurts – Eagles – $17.7k
Hurts is from the Houston area and that has been a known narrative coming into this game which I cannot see failing to produce a favorable stat line.
The Texans defense overall is pretty bad at stopping the run so he should be able to pick up the needed rushing touchdown to warrant Captain Usage.

Dallas Goedert – TE – Eagles
Houston has never been great at defending TE and this is my favorite change of pace correlation with Hurts instead of Brown (who I know owns Houston) and Smith.
Dameon Pierce – RB – Texans
The one guy I would buy into tonight is Pierce for Houston. The Eagles rush defense might take a slight knock with Davis out, but I also expect Pierce to get some usage in the screen game.
