This Fiday we are looking at a 12-game slate starting at 7:00PM tonight. A good number of starters have already been ruled out for tonight and this has opened value up. The Warriors are sitting four of their starters tonight making the rest of the team good options.

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups. Check it out here – DailyAmbush: NBA Dashboard
The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

CORE
De’Anthony Melton, Philadelphia 76ers ($4400)
The Sixers will be without James Harden tonight and this will open up a starting spot along with close to 30% usage. Melton has already been playing well for the Sixers hitting 30 plus minutes in two of the last three games and has hit 24 plus FPs in four straight games. A good matchup against the Knicks tonight as they rank in the bottom five against opposing shooting guards.
Warriors
The Warriors are basically sitting their whole starting lineup. Curry, Dray Green, Wiggins and Thompson. Jordan Poole picks up the biggest bump in usage with +7%, so he is someone to look at. Poole will definitely be the most popular play for the Warriors and come in with the highest ownership. JaMychal Green would be my favorite play. Jonothan Kuminga would be my next option. Ty Jerome and Moses Moody are both viable options as well. Jerome can rack up points fast. Keep an eye out for who is starting. I will have between two and four Warrior in my linups tonight.
Jalen McDaniels, Charlotte Hornets ($4500)
Playing well to start the year with three 30 plus FPs games over the past six. Also, playing around 30 minutes a game over the past three. Now that Hayward is out, McDaniels should pick up some more usage and play 30 plus minutes tonight. The Hornets play against the Grizzlies who are in the bottom 10 guarding opposing SFs. A fair price coming in at $4500 should and that will help him return a solid value tonight. He is the highest rated player on the model and also the highest value rating.
Kristaps Porzingas, Washington Wizards ($7600)
A slow start to the season but is finally starting to put up big games. Back-to-back 34 plus minutes and 53 plus FP games. The Wizards get an excellent matchup against the Nets who have been terrible defensively this year. A nice mini stack of Porzingas and run it back with Kevin Durant.
Just Missed the Core…….
- Kevin Durant
- Tyrese Maxey
- Kyle Lowry
- Tobias Harris

DIMES PLAY
Duncan Robinson has been a bump in minutes over the past two games playing 25 and 26 minutes respectively. Robinson can come out and get hot from behind the 3-point line and hit 5-6 tonight against the poor defense of the Indiana Pacers. Love this spot for Robinson with Butler out. He should come in at 1-2% if that and has a good chance to return 7-8 times value.
Good Luck !
