A solid 12-game slate tonight- this excludes the on game at 5:30 between the Magic and Mavericks.
The NBA is keeping the larger slates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the week with few games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A fair number of players have already been ruled out while still waiting on a few more that are questionable.
NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups.
Looking at a 12 -game slate starting at 7:00pm
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.
NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups. Check it out here – DailyAmbush: NBA Dashboard
The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

CORE
Darius Garland, Cleveland Cavaliers ($6900)
Garland has been playing extremely well since returning from injury. He is playing massive minutes pushing 38 plus in all three games since his return and exceeding 38 or more FPs (All exceeding value). One of those games was against the Celtics where he had 68.8 FPs in overtime. The Celtics rank in the top five defensively this year. The Cavs get an excellent matchup tonight against the faster paced Kings who also rank 24th defensively. This should be another good spot for Garland where he should push 40 plus FPs.

Grayson Allen, Milwaukee Bucks ($4600) /Jevon Carter ($3900)
The Bucks are down all three of their star players tonight with Giannis, Holiday and Middleton all sitting out. Talking about the majority of the team’s usage here. Bobby Portis and Grayson Allen have the highest usage rates with the three off the court coming in at 35 and 31.5% respectively. Allen has been averaging around 26 minutes and 20 FPs a game on the season, but with this usage bump and the matchup he should see 30 plus minutes and FPs tonight. Carter has been playing well as of late and should see a start tonight along with 30 plus minutes. A nice bump in pace for the Bucks tonight which is a plus and they get a decent matchup against the Thunder. Carter will be the chalk play of the two, but he should easily hit value at his salary. Allen should pick up less ownership and has 40 plus FPs upside tonight with the current situation. Both are viable options, and you can play both or choose one.
Jordan Nwora, Milwaukee Bucks ($3600)
Nwora will get his chance to shine tonight with the Bucks being down their main three players. He is over a 25% usage player when on the court and likes to take a ton of shots. Tonight, he will be given the opportunity to play around 25-30 minutes and has the potential to push 10x. If he gets the start, then I would think his ownership would be high. I prefer him to come off the bench to keep his ownership down a bit. Either way, I can see him hit 25 plus FPs with potential for the mid 30s.
