Well look at this…… a nice 8 game slate on a Friday! The NBA has been scheduling 12 plus games on most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and it is nice to see a medium size slate. Already have a fair number of players listed out for tonight with a few more listed as questionale. Keep an eye on their status and use the If/Then section below.
NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups.
Looking at a 12 -game slate starting at 7:00pm
The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.
NBA Dashboard is also another good source to help build lineups. Check it out here – DailyAmbush: NBA Dashboard
The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

CORE
Julius Randle, New York Knicks ($7900)
Over the past three games, Randle is averaging 1.43 FPPM with three consecutive 43 FPs games. He is has picked his game up some with Mitchell Robinson out and Isaiah Hartenstien playing poorly. Can’t get a better matchup than the Pistons as they rank dead last in defensive efficiency on the year.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Malik Monk, Sacramento Kings ($4500)
A nice pickup on the off-season for the Kings. Monk has played well so far, especially as of late averaging right around 30 minutes and 35 FPs- nice value for his price of 4.5K. Kings gain about 5 possessions against the fast pacers Lakers. This will be a fast paced-high scoring game and I like a few options from each side.
Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers ($6600)
Cavaliers head to San Francisco and play the Warriors tonight. The Warriors run at the fastest pace in the league and the Cavs gain over 10 possessions in thsi matchup. This means a lot of shots will be taken and the potential for rebounds. An area that Allen does very well ion averaging close to 12 a game with games on the mid to high teens. A good opportunity for 20 plus rebounds.

Just missed the core….(Not included in table below)
- Fred VanVleet
- Javon Carter
- Cameron Payne
- Derrick White– very close to a core play. Minutes are a slight concern. If he was to play 25 plus minutes=crush value.
- Isaiah Stewart
