Happy Labor Day! I am filling in for Mr. Renner tonight and on Wednesday. This article will follow a similar layout to the Donger Club with a few minor differences.
Tonight, there is a 6-game slate starting at 6:40p.m.
Weather looks good for tonight’s slate- Two games in a dome, Close to 90 in San Diego, 95 Plus in both LA games and 80 degrees in KC tonight. Nice weather for hitting.

Andrew Heaney
Pitching well since returning to the mound late last month. Elite K rate at 13.9-Ks/9 with an 18% whiff rate and 40% chase rate. Gets an excellent matchup against a Giants team who is striking out the 4th most against LHP over the past 14 days at a 28.2% clip. During that timeframe, the Giants are only hitting .212 with a. 081 ISO. Heaney pitched against them in early August and struck out seven batters in only four innings while allowing only one run. Pitch count is a bit higher now, so looking at a possible 5-6 innings with an 8-10 K game.
Blake Snell
Snell comes in as the highest rated pitcher on the dashboard. He also had the highest K prediction. The Diamondbacks are only hitting .236 and striking out 24% of the time against LHP over the past 14 days.
Lance Lynn
Looks like Lynn could be back on track posting 24.5 DK points in three of the last four games and averaging a little of 6 innings and 7.5 strike outs per game in that timeframe. Pitch count has been right around 95, so we should see him go 6-7 innings. He has done well against the current Mariner lineup- minus a few players he has yet to pitch against (.183 average with 28% K rate). Looking for 6 innings 7-8 Ks and a few earned runs.

Astros top pitching prospect- pitched well in the minors with a 30% Krate and 2.55 ERA. May only go 4-5 innings and strike out 5 plus hitter.

Tigers/Angels – it’s gonna be HAWT in LA tonight.
It looks like Jose Suarez could be popular tonight. The Tigers are usually a good team to pick on most nights, but they have hit better vs LHP as of late. Plus, it will be in the high 90s tonight in LA and the ball should fly. Add in that Suarez throws a bunch of sliders and Reyes, Baez and Hass all hit that pitch well along with Spencer Torkelson(good value if he plays). Torkelson would make an excellent value play and like his chances to go yard.
