Only nine games have graced us on this Wednesday mid week MLB DFS slate, which is just fine although we have lots of one off guys who are resting tonight.  Devers, Riley, Adames to name a few as of now. [spacer height=”20px”] WEATHER Nationals at Orioles – This has high PPD risk associated with it.  Storms could be ugly and bring a ton of rain plus they can easily make this one up later in the year. Cubs at Pirates – Storms also possible although unlikely to disrupt the game. Giants & Braves – Once again a high Dew Point, warm temps, humid, etc. Good amount of warmth everywhere and roof likely open in Milwaukee. [spacer height=”20px”] SHOHEI OHTANI Some will say that the Royals do not strike out a ton and they are “hot”.  Last I checked they are still the Royals and Ohtani is the type of guy who can get 8-10 strikeouts against them.  He pitches well at home and is going to carve up KC. PAUL BLACKBURN I think Blackburn … no, I know Blackburn is the better pitcher in this game but I can assure you somewhere there is someone touting George Kirby.  Kirby has yet to demonstrate two things.  One, he doesn’t have a third pitch that is good enough (bad Change Up) and two his only hope is being able to command his Fastball.  Two things that are red flags for a chalky value pitcher in my mind. So we go over to the better guy in Blackburn who’s got an extremely good breaking ball and Seattle’s been one of the highest K% teams vs curves.  He is close to Ohtani in terms pure #1 SP’s tonight. DANIEL LYNCH Right back to the Lefties against Angels as Lynch is the highest rated DCPA strikeout pitcher on the slate.  Unfortunately when he misses down tonight Trout will get back on the HR sheet, but otherwise this is a 6 inning outing from Lynch with 8 strikeout potential.  He’s tonights version of RIch Hill where I’ll be playing the K prop even if I wind up not having him as a main lineup pitcher tonight. [spacer height=”20px”] Other guys I don’t mind… High Upside, High Risk: Carlos Rodon – Atlanta is a HIGH strikeout team, he’s just gotta avoid the long innings.  The Braves are resting Riley tonight which was a big bat I liked…...
