C Nathan MacKinnon (COL)

MacKinnon is getting hot at the right time as the Stanley Cup favorites prep for the playoffs against another contender, one from the East in the Washington Capitals. If the playoffs were to start today Colorado would be a one seed and Washington would be a two. As of late, MacKinnon has been hot recording points in six of his last seven games with a total of nine goals in the process.

C Jack Eichel (VGK)

Vegas continues to fight for a Wild Card spot and are currently on the outside looking in as they host the New Jersey Devils. Jersey is just 10-25-3 on the road and Vegas has been solid at home this season. Eichel was acquired to bring this team to the next level but with injuries keeping him out and affecting others for the Knights, things haven’t gone according to plan. There’s still time for Vegas to make a run and Eichel has been doing his best to do his part recording double-digit DK points in 12-straight games. Jersey has been one of the worst teams at defending the center position this season.
