Key Skaters

C Connor McDavid (EDM)

• Even though the Kings are solid against the center position this is Connor McDavid. With 98 points now in 66 games, McDavid has multiple points in eight of his last 10 games. With there being plenty of value to consider and not much high-priced talent, there’s no reason to look past McDavid when starting your lineups tonight and it’s not difficult to pair him with teammate Leon Draisaitl either.

C Mark Scheifele (WPG)

• The Jets head to Buffalo to take on the Sabres, their first road game since 3/20 when they won in Chicago. Winnipeg has gone 3-1 during their four-game homestand and Scheifele has been red hot with points in six of his last seven games with multi-point efforts on five of those occasions. Buffalo has been one of the worst teams at limiting the center position this season and Scheifele who has 62 points in 61 games looks primed for a strong effort.

W Chris Kreider (NYR)

• Kreider continues to play with a vengeance after a goal and an assist in last night’s win against the Penguins. The two points made it five straight games with at least one point with multiple points on three occasions for Kreider. Detroit has lost three straight and six out of 10 and is coming off an embarrassing performance on Sunday in which they allowed 11 goals to the Penguins.
