Key Skaters

C Anze Kopitar (LA)

• On a night with a ton of high-priced talent, there needs to be some value considered and we get that with Kopitar coming in at $5,900 against the Blackhawks playing in the second half of a back-to-back. Chicago has been lacking defensively as it is this season but factor in that their older, depleted roster will be playing a second game in as many nights there figures to be some lazy shifts throughout this contest. Kopitar has just three points in his last three games but has hit double-digit fantasy points in three of his last five. This is a good spot to lock in a center who will see upwards of 20 minutes of ice time at a good salary in a prime matchup.

C Leon Draisaitl (EDM)

• Some of that high-priced talent includes Draisaitl at $8,400 against the San Jose Sharks. The former Hart Trophy winner has points in six straight and although the Sharks have wont two straight they are still susceptible up the middle. There are a number of ways to go in the 8K and above range tonight but Draisaitl is one that I’m keying in on.

W Kyle Connor (WPG)

• Connor has been a machine delivering points in seven straight games with multiple points five times over that span. Ottawa is playing its third straight road game and this is the first matchup between these two teams in a while. Connor and the Jets have scored four or more goals in four of their last five games with a six-goal and seven-goal effort sandwiched in between.
