Overview

After a loaded 13-game slate the NHL is back with a modest four games on the schedule with three games starting in the 7:00 p.m. eastern hour and one at 10:00 p.m. eastern. Some of the highlights of the slate include the Wild traveling to Columbus to face the Blue Jackets and the Vegas Golden Knights playing their second road game in as many nights, this time in Pittsburgh.

W Kirill Kaprizov (MIN)

Kaprizov will lead the Wild into Columbus against the Blue Jackets one night removed from scoring five goals against the Red Wings. Kaprizov logged a goal in the contest giving him points in six straight games with multi-goal efforts twice over that span. Columbus has struggled defensively all season and like Minnesota, they are playing in their second game in as many nights. This should be another productive outing for Kaprizov and the Wild overall.

W Jake Guentzel (PIT)

Pittsburgh comes in fresh at home facing a Vegas team that was pushed around a little bit by the Sabres last night. Guentzel, who now has 28 goals on the season has a goal in each of his last three games with points in four straight overall. This should be a fast-paced game with scoring chances on both sides. Guentzel at a sub-7K price tag is solid as well in a good spot.

C J.T. Miller (VAN)

Miller is red-hot right now with points in 10-straight games with seven of those contests including multiple points. In what should be a grind-it-out type of affair, Miller finds himself in a good situation with potentially low ownership (considering it’s a four-game slate) due to his upped salary (he’s the second-highest priced center) at a position where there’s a ton of value tonight.
