NBA DFS DROPPIN DIMES(Quick Hits Edition)Friday , March 11th

Looking at an 10-game slate starting at 7:00pm

The “Droppin Dimes,” article will go over my favorite plays for the slate. It will consist of three to five core plays  along with some additional plays and some value plays. You will not always see the highest-priced players or the most obvious plays. The article will be the building blocks to help construct lineup/s.

(Note: All pricing and fantasy points are based on DraftKings but can be used for all sites.)

Always keep an eye on the status of players before lock, especially now. There are still a decent number of players with questionable tags.

NOTES
Lakers/Wizards game-sneaky game with potential for high scoring with good fantasy options.
Mavericks get the best matchup an pace boost
Hornts/Pelicans game- both teams in bottom 10 defensively.
CORE
Devonte’ Graham, NEW ORLEANS PELICANS ($4300)
Graham has played well in a more limited roll, but should slide into the starting lineup with CJ McCollum out tonight. He rates out as one of the top players on today’s slate for value(projection/price). Projected for around 32-34 minutes in an excellent matchup against the Hornets who run at a fast pace. A good opportunity for Graham to take advantage of the increased roll and put up a 30 plus FP game.
[spacer height=”20px”]
Maxi Kleber, DALLAS MAVERICKS ($3700)

The Mavericks are down a few players tonight with Finney-Smith and Brunson out. This will give Kleber a few more minutes in an elite matchup against the Rockets. Kleber has been solid through most of this year and has shown some 40 plus FP upside in some matchups. This is a spot where he should shine and easily hit value.

[spacer height=”20px”]

Jonas Valanciunas, NEW ORLEANS PELICANS ($7800)

The Pelicans are in a good spot tonight against the Hornets in fast paced game. They are also without a few key players tonight which should increase Valancuinas usage and give him a few more minutes. He is coming of a big game against the Magic with a 30/15/3 stat line with 2 blocks and 2 steals. Excellent spot against one of the worst teams guarding opposing centers.

[spacer height=”20px”]
Donovan Mitchell, UTAH JAZZ ($8600)
This is an excellent price for Mitchell as he has been 9k plus for most of the year. He has the highest usage bump with Bogdanovic off the floor. Taking close to 20 shots a game and should see a bump tonight. Love the matchup against he faster paced Spurs who are ranked in the bottom 10 defensively. Like the chances for a 50 Burger plus tonight for Mitchell at lower ownership.

VALUE
  • Mitchell Robinson
  • PJ Washington
  • Derrick White-price is down and gets an excellent mathcup
  • Naki Marshall
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker- should see more time with Bogdonavic out.
  • Amir Coffey
  • Rui Hachimura
  • Herb Jones
  • Kelly Ooooooolynyk -revenge game ! Has always played well against Boston
[spacer height=”20px”]
DIMES PLAYS
Jose Alvarado- should see a bump in minutes and usage with CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram out. Averaging just shy of a FPPM on the year. He should see around 25 plus minutes against the much faster paced Hornets. Also, this is an elite matchup for the Pelicans tonight.
