What stands out to me.
- Capitals LW Alex Ovechkin is OUT tonight based on COVID-19 or just not wanting to have to go to the all-star game this weekend. I was already on Daniel Sprong and he will now probably see more time as the Backstrom-Sprong-Wilson line gets the most ice time for Washington. The Caps are on a B2B and this smells like disaster for Washington though.
- Minnesota is a tough draw for Chicago, gotta expect the Wild to control this game easily.
- The Kings/Red Wings game looks like it has game stack potential but Flames/Coyotes is where everyone will be and it will all be on the Calgary side. Arizona is a leverage play tonight in a big way.
- Who the fuck cares about the Kraken and Islanders?

Mikael Backlund – Flames
The Calgary top line is definitely favorable for a full stack but Backlund should see an increase in shots as he is more active when they are on the road and Arizona is not good defensively vs centers.
Alex Iafallo – Kings
I don’t see how one likes the Kings tonight without liking their top line. Iafallo has 14 goals and 14 assists on the season, is taking over 4.5 shot attempts per game and the Wings are dead last over the last month in goals allowed vs LW.
Darnell Nurse – Oilers
The best spots to attack in the EDM-WSH game tonight are on the defensemen. Nurse shoots a good amount and should factor in with a few blocks tonight. I like him to have the SOG bonus, BS bonus and score a goal. He is pricey but between McDavid and Nurse I see one of them having a big game.

OVERALL POSITIONAL RANKINGS
CENTERS
- Connor McDavid
- Anze Kopitar
- Mikael Backlund / Elias Lindholm (Dont mind rolling both in a 4 man Flames stack)
[spacer height=”20px”]
WINGS
- Kiril Kaprizov
- Alex Iafallo
- Johnny Gaudreau
- Evander Kane
VALUE WINGS
- Adrian Kempe
- Daniel Sprong
- Blake Coleman

DEFENSE
- Darnell Nurse
- Matt Dumba
- John Carlson
- Drew Doughty

Calgary Flames
Backlund, Coleman, Kylington
Depth is why the Flames are going to beat the Coyotes tonight. Well, that and talent. But it’s depth that gets overlooked too often and we’re just stacking the top team while playing the ownership game and attacking … the depth. These three correlate in PP2 time as well as two of them on the CGY 2 line which is on the road down in Phoenix.
LA Kings
Kopitar, Iafallo, Kempe, Doughty
The Kopitar-Iafallo combination is a must and a nice core to build around.
Edmonton Oilers
McDavid, Kane, Nurse
[spacer height=”20px”]

Mikko Koskinen (Edmonton)
Without Ovi this is not a bad value play who should win and see enough shots to offset 1 or 2 goals allowed.
Cam Talbot (Wild)
I don’t see how Chicago gets their offense going against the Wild. If not for being over 8k, I would lock in Talbot for a slate breaker performance tonight.
