Happy Holiday DFS day. Early slate is the Main slate for DraftKings and FanDuel, with 1:00 pm being the lock time, so we have another morning article.

The cliff notes on todays slate includes, Hurricanes, Avs, Flames, Leafs. That is where the focus of my article is heading. And the Key players which I am focused around building specifically are:
Vincent Trocheck – Carolina
When there is a team in a projected dominant spot today it’s easy to just lock in on one line and go but in reality we should expect an even distribution among the top lines for the Hurricanes. Being on the road which is when I like 2nd lines and also Trocheck being on the PP which is advantageous here, I am making the call that he’s the Hurricane you gotta have today.
Gabriel Landeskog – Avalanche
Both Avs wingers are coming in at a reduced price. The Bruins are 26th defensively against LW over the last month in goals allowed.

CENTERS
- Vincent Trocheck
- Elias Lindholm
- John Tavares
- Bo Horvat
WINGS
- Gabriel Landeskog
- Teuvo Teravainen
- Matthew Tkachuk
- William Nylander
- Kyle Connor – Best 2% owned play on the day. The Flames haven’t lost since January 27th, so if they are going to lose to the Jets today then either Kyle Connor is getting a hatty or Connor Hellebuyck got a shutout. I’ll lean heavily on the hatty chances.
DEFENSE
- Cale Makar
- Tony DeAngelo
- Rasmus Andersson
- Morgan Rielly
VALUE
- Mike Hoffman
- Martin Necas
- Nino Niederreiter
- TJ Brodie – D

HURRICANES
Trocheck, Necas, Teravainen, DeAngelo
A little unique twist on the Hurricanes build today. You could play 1 Hurricane, you could play 5 Hurricanes, but no matter what, we are not playing 0 Hurricanes. Get some Carolina, get some Carolina PP exposure and for sure enjoy the Vincent Trocheck $4,800 goal.
AVALANCHE
MacKinnon, Landeskog, Rantanen, Makar
The perception of facing Boston could keep Colorado’s ownership down today, which is criminal given how cheap Landeskog, Rantanen and Makar are.

Thatcher Demko – Canucks
Bounce back opportunity for Demko to redeem himself. That’s all I can say about this fucktard right now.
Leverage Goalie
Connor Hellebuyck – Jets
Flames are winners of 9 in a row and the Jets are prone to some bad defensive outings. Everything here screams the Flames winning the game, right??? Ehh, not so fast my friends. This is holiday DFS and with holiday DFS comes some weirdness. No matter what this game will have lots of shots and action in it, but if Hey-you-suck can turn into, Hey-I-won-a-buck today then this can be our GPP winner. I mean, do you really wanna roll with Thatcher Demko again?
