Overview

The Monday night slate features just three contests in the NHL but there’s still some potential for some good fantasy performances. Jack Hughes and the Devils have been involved in three high-scoring affairs of late competing in games with goal totals of 13, seven, nine, six, eight, and eight spanning all of their games in the month of February to this point. We could see that trend continue tonight against Vancouver, a team that’s been in plenty of high-scoring affairs of their own of late. Toronto and Washington matchup in what should be a physical affair with plenty of star power to go around. Finally, the Bruins play in their third straight road game taking on the Kings who are red-hot winners of five straight including a 5-2 victory on home ice their last time out after a successful four-game road trip.

Key Skaters

C Jack Hughes (NJD)

Once again Hughes is priced down at $6,000 and is coming off a three-point effort giving him now points in seven-straight games with multi-point efforts on fie occasions. This matchup with Vancouver is tougher up the middle on paper but they’re susceptible defensively and Hughes is skating too well right now to ignore.

W Brad Marchand (BOS)

Marchand has been back two games now since his suspension and went scoreless in the first but his most recent effort was a different story. The scrappy winger is coming off a two-goal, one assist effort on eight shots against the Sharks, and that now gives him 15 shots in his last two games. Marchand is playing as a man possessed and that will continue tonight.

C J.T. Miller (VAN)

Miller has been scorching of late and is quietly having a great season with 20 goals and 57 points in 51 games. He has points in six of his last seven games with multi-point efforts five times totaling five goals and eight assists over that span. This should be one of the higher-scoring games of the night and Miller will be an integral part of that.
